Time for Rest – Day 14 of Self Care for Pregnant and New Parents


We’re over halfway through our calendar. I don’t know about you, but I’ve had a lot on.


I was really looking forward to seeing a friend today who has unfortunately had to cancel. And I’m choosing to lean into this change in plans to focus on how this is perfect. It’s perfect because resting today without having any particular plans is just what I need.


How about you? Have you also been busier than usual? Maybe you also feel a bit overstretched? Is your body telling you to slow down?


How can you find time to rest today? Even if it’s for 5 or 10 minutes.


I’m going to enjoy time with a cup of tea in my new mug. (Hopefully while my son naps! Please keep your fingers crossed for me!)
