Retreat Waiver and Policies


We look forward to welcoming you on our retreat. Please be aware of the following policies and responsibilities that you are agreeing to when you book a retreat with us.


All participants must complete the following booking form:


I (meaning in every instance in this document you, the guest, participant, client) participate in the retreat that I am booking at my own risk. I confirm that I have no medical condition that would prevent my participation in the programme which may include yoga practices, dance and movement and moderate walks. I understand my physical limitations and am sufficiently self-aware to not take part in or stop physical activity before I become ill or injured. I understand that in any exercise class, I will progress at my own pace. If at any point I feel overexertion or fatigue, I will respect my own body's limitations and I will rest before continuing any exercise.

I declare myself to be responsible for my own health and safety while participating in services offered by You HAVE Got This and any other retreat providers or contractors. I or my representative(s) agree to full release and hold harmless You HAVE Got This and and any other retreat providers or contractors from and against any and all claims or liability of whatsoever kind or nature arising out of or in connection with this Retreat.

I understand that services offered by You HAVE Got This and and any other retreat providers or contractors do NOT serve as a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health, medical diagnosis and/or treatment.

I acknowledge and understand that I am using the facilities provided by the retreat providers and organisers at my own risk. In consideration for being permitted to participate in services, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the services offered and/or my presence at the premises at which Y You HAVE Got This and any other retreat providers or contractors operate.

I expressly waive any claim of liability for personal/bodily injury or damages which occur to me. I also waive any claim for loss, damage or destruction of my personal property unless they are the result of gross negligence by the hosts.

I hereby WAIVE AND RELEASE You HAVE Got This and any other retreat providers or contractors and its owner from any claim, demand, cause of action of any kind resulting from or related to my participation in the programs offered by You HAVE Got This and any other retreat providers or contractors.


Electronically ticking the waiver agreement on my booking form further acknowledges that I shall not now, or at any time in the future hold the facilitators liable for any damages and/or injury resulting from participation in the Retreat. Nor bring any legal action against Amanda Hunter, You HAVE Got This or any co-hosts and that this waiver is binding on me, my heirs, my spouse, my children, my legal representatives, my successors and my assigns in relation to this.

I have read and understood the foregoing assumption of risk and release of liability and fully understand its content. I understand that by signing it I am obligated to indemnify the parties named for any liability for injury or death of any person and damage to property caused by my negligent or intentional act or omission. I understand that by electronically ticking the waiver agreement on my booking form I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions.


Your Health

It is your responsibility to let our facilitators know if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, have had a baby in the last year, have any injuries or health conditions. We ask that you advise us of any mental or physical health conditions and dietary requirements before you book. If you have health conditions and dietary requirements that may be affected by the activities offered on our retreats we reserve the right to cancel your booking or advise you to stop participating for your own safety.


It is also your responsibility to be aware at all times of your own body’s capability during our retreats. If you experience any injury or discomfort during any activity during the retreat, please stop participating immediately. If you choose to engage in any activity during the retreat, you do so at your own risk.

It is also your responsibility to consult a doctor to check that you are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake the physical activities that you may choose to do while on the retreat. We recommend that women who are 12 to 28 weeks pregnant provide a letter from their health practitioner specifying that they are fit to travel and able to engage in the activities that we provide.

Whilst all measures are taken to ensure a high standard of health and safety, some activities on our retreats do take places where the land is uneven and we shall not be responsible for any injuries caused by uneven terrain.


Acknowledgement of risks

By booking this retreat, you warrant that you are aware that all activities (including exercise) and travel carries risks, and acknowledge you are participating willingly, and in knowledge of these risks.


You recognise that we are not able to provide you with medical advice, and that any information provided should be used as a guideline only. If you have any prior knowledge of health concerns or health risks, you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to seek clearance from a health care professional prior to attending any of our retreats.

By completing your booking, you are agreeing to our coaching agreement available here

You agree to fully indemnify without limitation any facilitator(s), coach(es), trainer(s), director(s) or contractor(s) against any injury, malpractice, mishap, accident or or loss/damage to personal property during any and all interactions with You HAVE Got This or other retreat providers away from, or at the primary place of business for the retreat.

By continuing with your booking, you agree with the following statement: 

I am voluntarily participating in the retreat at my own risk, with full understanding of any potential risks involved. By participating in the activities, I give up any legal rights to any and all future claims against You HAVE Got this, any facilitator(s), coach(es), trainer(s), director(s) or contractor(s) and that no responsibility lies with these entities for accidents or injuries, or loss/damage to personal property resulting from my participation in any activities, or my use of equipment or facilities, unless proven to be caused by their negligence or any other circumstance where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Payment Policy

To reserve a spot on the retreat, a non-refundable booking fee stipulated in your ticket price of the retreat per person is required upon booking. Payment of any outstanding sums owed (the balance) for any payment plan must be made before the specified Payment Due Date for the retreat which you are booking. Prices DO NOT include flights, transfers or travel insurance. These expenses are your responsibility. 

Travel Insurance

We require that your travel insurance covers the activity of your retreat with us as well as unexpected cancellation, sickness, losses and all the usual risks. 

It is your responsibility to organise suitable travel and health insurance. You acknowledge that the retreat provider and You HAVE Got This are not in the business of providing insurance products and cannot be held liable if your failure to arrange suitable insurance coverage leaves you exposed, medically, financially or otherwise.

You understand and acknowledge that it is a condition of booking that you must take out an adequate travel insurance policy that covers all items listed in the sample itinerary for your chosen retreat, as well as but not limited to, trip cancellation insurance, and any other activities that which may reasonably be undertaken during the course of your retreat. The policy and insurance coverage must be valid and in effect for the entire duration of your retreat.

Please note, even if you have private health insurance in your Country of Residence, it is unlikely that this insurance will cover overseas trips to the extent required to participate in the activities organised on the retreat. 

You will be asked to email or bring your policy with you to the retreat in case of an emergency.


Cancellations Policy: Guest Cancellations

If you need to cancel any retreat with us, cancellation fees will apply. Any notice of cancellation must be provided in writing.

Please refer to the following for a breakdown of applicable cancellation fees:

There is no cooling-off period when purchasing or booking any of our retreats.

There is a non-refundable deposit for each ticket type (this is the fee if you cancel before the date specified on your ticket that is more than 3 months before the retreat). Refer to the booking policy on your ticket. 

If you cancel within 3 months of the retreat or the date specified on your ticket, the cancellation fee will be 100% of the cost of your retreat booking. 

We may be able to offer a refund (minus the deposit) if we are able to fill your place. This is at our discretion and our discretion is final.

You are responsible for your own travel to and from the retreat. We require that you purchase travel insurance as we will not be liable for any missed time at the retreat or lost travel expenses due to the unavoidable cancellation of the retreat. 

If you choose to leave the retreat early or are asked to leave due to unacceptable behavior (as detailed in Section 6 of the Terms and Conditions) you forfeit the right to receive any refund.

Due to our need to commit to accommodation and other arrangements in advance, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason.

Cancellations Policy: Cancellations made by Us

If for any reason You HAVE Got This or the retreat providers have to cancel or change the start date of any retreat, for any reason whatsoever, you are entitled to transfer the sums paid to another retreat or programme that we offer (either scheduled or at some future time within the next two (2) years) to be used as credit.

Alternatively, you may request a refund of payments made by you to us, which will be accommodated for insofar as is possible, taking into consideration any non-retrievable costs to which we committed in anticipation of your retreat.

You may also choose to accept any significant amendments necessary to be made to the retreat.

You HAVE Got This or the retreat providers are not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreats such as other accommodation, airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip. This is part of the reason why we require you to purchase appropriate insurance. 

We reserve the right to cancel any bookings that are deemed unsuitable or inappropriate. All attendees will be required to complete a booking form that they will be sent with their booking confirmation. We recommend that you do not book your travel until after you have received confirmation from us once the booking form has been submitted. If we cancel your booking upon receipt of the booking form, we will refund the amount paid minus any service fees. 

Due to our need to commit to accommodation and other arrangements in advance, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason.


Any agreed refunds that meet the cancellation requirements will be processed by direct debit or using the original payment method within 10 working days. The method of refund will be determined by You HAVE Got This. 

Room Allocations

Room allocations will be made on a first come first serve basis. We cannot guarantee you will be allocated a specific room and the room you are allocated may not match the image on the website depending on room availability. However, you will be allocated a room based on the ticket type purchased. 

Late Arrivals/Early Departures

We do not offer credit for arriving late to the retreat or departing early.

Third Parties

You HAVE Got This and the retreat providers hold no responsibility for the actions or omissions of third parties or independent contractors, including in the event that they modify the nature of a service on a retreat as compared with the advertised nature of the service.

Further, You HAVE Got This and the retreat providers accept no responsibility for delayed, missed or cancelled flights, buses, ferries, transfers, or any other modes of transportation required by you to get to your accommodation, or any other activity or event in connection with or relating to your retreat.

General Waiver

You electronically agree to this waiver with You HAVE Got This and the retreat providers when you tick the relevant box while completing your booking form.

You acknowledge that during any trip with You HAVE Got This and the retreat providers you participate voluntarily in any and all activities arranged, and insofar as is legally permissible, you surrender your right to any cause of action against You HAVE Got This and the retreat providers, their agents, contractors, employees and directors, arising from any loss or damage to any person or property that occurs during an trip, up to and including death.

All health issues including allergies MUST be disclosed at the time of booking. You must also send any relevant updates regarding your health in advance of the retreat. 

Our retreats are not suitable for people under the age of 18 years. There are areas of the retreat that people with mobility issues may not be able to access.

You HAVE Got This and the retreat providers will not accept liability for:

Any of the above events, or others beyond our control.

Loss, injury, or damage (to you) or your personal property, including death.

Physical, medical or mental health conditions developing during or after your retreat. Check that your holiday insurance policy covers these and other contingencies.


All information provided on the website and any written and verbal form of correspondence is correct at the time of publication. However, due to mechanical faults, weather conditions, or ‘Acts of God’ or force majeures (natural events or disasters which are outside of human control and/ or are not reasonably foreseeable or preventable) some amenities, activities or the event may be affected or temporarily unavailable. Very occasionally, we may have to vary the advertised programme due to staff sickness or other unforeseen problems, in which case we will always try to provide an equivalent replacement.

Team Members and Workshops

In the event of one of the team members becoming injured, ill or any emergency situation that forces them to leave the retreat, then this may impact on the retreat plan, in terms of workshops or sessions being cancelled. We will do whatever we can to adapt to the situation and reduce the impact this may have on your retreat experience; however we may not be able to get a substitute activity arranged. The retreat will continue to run however things will be adjusted to reflect the team situation. There will be no refunds or compensation to reflect the change in team situation


Photo / Video Release – Use of Image

You hereby grant to You HAVE Got This and the retreat providers the absolute and irrevocable right, and unrestricted permissions to use photographic portraits/images/videos in which you feature that are taken during the retreat to use/republish/copyright, etc. for commercial use in association with our services. You hereby release and discharge You HAVE Got This and the retreat providers from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs and video footage, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy. If you do not wish for your image to be used, you must let us know in advance of the retreat so that suitable arrangements can be made. 

By booking any retreat with us you agree to be bound by and adhere to all policies and rules.


We are confident that you will not find cause for concern during your retreat and we always welcome feedback. If you feel that a complaint is warranted you must raise the issue directly with us. Any retrospective complaint must be made in writing to within 14 days of the end of your retreat. We will have 28 days from the date of receiving your complaint to respond in writing. 

Privacy Policy

Your personal details will be stored securely and used to provide you with services relating to the retreat - including communications, support services and activities before, during and after the retreat. By booking the retreat, you agree that we can contact you regarding matters related to the retreat.

This contract is entered into under the laws of the United Kingdom and in agreeing to these terms and condition you are doing so on behalf of yourself and any other parties included in your booking.
